It’s real and it’s happening soon!

Love Island Games, which is essentially an all-stars edition of Love Island featuring contestants from all over the world, revealed its lineup yesterday.

Similar to the UK edition (which is also the original irritation of the reality dating show) it will be hosted by Maya Jama, but this time the contestants will be characters that Love Island enthusiasts have seen before.

Those of us who followed Love Island UK will recognise names like Megan Barton Hanson, Eyal Brooker, Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler from the memorable cast of the fourth season.

It will also feature Mike from Series 6 (the first winter Love Island), Liberty and Toby from Series 7 and Scott from Series 10, the one we just watched over the summer!

But that's not all. Also featuring in the line-up are people who once starred in the US, Australian, German, Swedish, and French versions of the show.

On top of that, Iain Sterling will return to do the important narration and our favourite Longford woman Maura Higgins will be helping out as the social media ambassador, no doubt bringing us some juicy behind-the-scenes content!

The best part about this is that Maura's ex Curtis Pritchard was also announced in the line-up so we can’t wait to see how that plays out!

You can check out the full line-up here.

While the show does seem to be lead a lot by the UK side, it’s an American production which will be streaming on Peacock next month.
We’re sure they’ll find some way for UK & Irish audiences to tune in as well!

For all the latest entertainment news, tune into The Lowdown on 98FM, weekday mornings after 11am with Brian Dowling and Suzanne Kane 🎬
