Derry Girls and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan is making headlines again—she’s set to take centre stage in I Am Helen, the next instalment of Channel 4’s acclaimed BAFTA-winning anthology I Am...

The two-part drama reunites her with writer-director Dominic Savage, marking the franchise’s first story split over two episodes.

Known for powerful female-led tales, I Am has previously featured performances from Kate Winslet, Letitia Wright and Lesley Manville. Now it's Nicola’s turn, alongside Joe Cole (Gangs of London, Peaky Blinders), to bring a new emotionally charged story to life. Though plot details are under wraps, expect a raw, intimate tale crafted through improvised narrative in signature I Am style.
