Tim Burton recently let slip he isn't done working with Lady Gaga just yet.
After wrapping her cameo as Nevermore's dark-arts teacher Rosaline Rotwood, Burton hinted at “something else” cooked up with the pop star while speaking at Italy’s Giffoni Film Festival.
Burton said: “Honestly, she’s an amazing artist. I just worked with her on Wednesday a little bit, and done something else with her. I feel very connected to her… it was very inspiring.” That’s the director describing Gaga with genuine admiration — and we’re already picturing gothic grandeur.
Of course, Gaga’s role on Wednesday is relatively brief, but Jenna Ortega didn’t stop gushing. At SXSW she called working with Gaga and Burton “a really, really special environment,” praising Gaga as “one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever worked with.” So looking forward to whatever mystery project they’re cooking!
While Gaga is set to appear on Netflix from mid‑August (Part 1 drops 6 August, Part 2 on 3 September), Burton’s tease sets the scene for more collaboration to come—whether music, film or something darkly magical in between. Keep those eyes peeled!
