Two men have been charged following a seizure of nearly 1 million euro worth of suspected cocaine at Dublin Port.
Around 14 kilos of the drug was seized by Revenue officers following the search of a car, which had disembarked from a ferry on Monday.
The two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested and charged, and are due before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin.
A Garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí have arrested two men following a seizure of €980,000 Cocaine by Revenue Officers at Dublin Port on Monday 25th August 2025.
"Approximately 14kgs of suspected Cocaine with an estimated value of €980,000 was seized by Revenue Officers following the search of a car which had disembarked from a ferry.
"The two men, aged in their 30s and 20s, are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
"They have both been charged and are due to appear before the evening sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice Dublin today Wednesday 27th August 2025.
"Investigations are ongoing."
