Gardai say a suspicious package delivered to a premises at North Wall Quay Road this morning was found to be a hoax.
A cordon was put in place when officers were notified, and the army bomb disposal unit was requested.
Gardai say the package was deemed safe, and declared a hoax.
The investigation is continuing.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí were alerted to a suspicious package at a premises on the North Wall Quay Road, Dublin 1 this morning, 25th of August 2025.
"A cordon was put in place around the area and the services of the army EOD team requested.
"The package was subsequently deemed safe and a hoax.
"Investigations are ongoing."
North Wall Quay is currently closed as we respond to an incident.
