Almost €400,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in Dublin Airport.
Nearly 20 kilos of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of approximately €399,600 was discovered by Revenue officers at the airport yesterday.
The contraband was concealed in vacuum-packed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had got off a flight originating from Thailand.
A man in his 20s was arrested in relation to the seizure and has since appeared before the courts.
Investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
