It’s time for new beginnings on This Morning.

Earlier this week Holly Willoughby announced she was stepping down from presenting This Morning after 14 years.

Even though the news came as a shock to many, speculation has already begun on who will take her place.

For a long time Holly and her cohost Philip Schofield were the stronghold of This Morning, and many people would have associated the duo with that show.

But ever since the fallout that sprung from Philip Schofield's affair scandal, the This Morning everyone once knew and loved had fallen to pieces.

The show has been kept on the road by a number of ‘relief’ presenters including Craig Doyle, Alison Hammond, Rochelle Humes, Dermot O’Leary and Josie Gibson.

These members of the “This Morning family” aren’t permanent so it’s likely ITV are looking for a complete shake-up

Many viewers are looking for Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond to be made permanent presenters. The duo previously always covered the show during the school holidays.

Another fan favourite to present the show is Rylan. The beloved presenter is no stranger to This Morning having presented segments on the show in the past.

Another name being thrown into the hat is Davina McCall, although she might be tied up in other presenting gigs! The former Big Brother host recently presented a show called ‘My Mum Your Dad’ which was branded as a “grown-up Love Island”

Other relief presenters Rochelle Humes and Josie Gibson would be popular choices as they’re well-known by fans of the show.

But whether ITV want to keep the familiar faces around or go with a complete shake up is still up for debate!

We’ll just have to wait and see 👀
