There was plenty of Irish representation at the National Television Awards last night!

The National Television Awards were on in London last night and our own Maura Higgins and Vogue Williams were the talk of the red carpet in their stunning gowns.

Vogue Williams was on presenting duties for the night and wowed in a glitzy black dress that channelled Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' music video.

Meanwhile Longford native Maura Higgins was giving us all serious body envy in her glamorous black dress with pearl detail.

Maura wasn't the only Love Island star on the carpet. The stylish Tasha Ghouri from last year's series was also in attendance, along with a host of the finalists from this year's series.

And of course with all the drama happening around This Morning this year, everyone was watching with interest to see how they'd get on in their category of 'Best Daytime Show'.

Holly was representing the team and was asked how it felt to be at the awards after everything that went down.

"If I am really honest, it has been up and down." she said to The Sun on the red carpet. "It has been a difficult year for everybody but what’s lovely is you find that people rally around you and the goodwill is there. People want things to move on. It feels different."

And alas, they were beaten out by The Repair Show, losing their 10 year streak of wins in that category. (Anyone heard of The Repair Show? No? Us neither).

They also lost out in the best presenter category where Alison Hammond was up for the win. Incredibly it went to Ant and Dec for the 22nd year in a row 😂

There was a lovely moment where the late Paul O'Grady won the award for Best Factual TV Show for his beloved Paul O'Grady: For The Love of Dogs.

The presenter tragically passed away earlier this year and there wasn't a dry eye in the house after a tribute featuring all the presenter's best moments was played.
