The Dublin actor Karl Shiels has died suddenly.
The 47-year-old was best known for playing Robbie Quinn in Fair City.
Karl's co-star, Eric Lalor, has described him as a "hugely gifted actor and a really great friend".

As well as Fair City, Karl Shiels has also starred in a number of films and TV shows.
His list of credits includes Batman Begins, Peaky Blinders, Intermission and Veronica Guerin.
