They'll be making these movies until they're old and grey šŸ˜…

Vin Diesel has confirmed that an all-female Fast and the Furious spin-off movie is in the works.

The latest film, Fast X, was released this month, and it was Part One in a two part finale.

But it's obviously not the end of the Fast & Furious films if they're already planning the spin offs!

ā€œI started developing the female spinoff in 2017 with other spinoffs, and the sooner I deliver the finale, the sooner I can launch all the spinoffs." Vin Diesel revealed in an interview with Variety.

And the big boss at Universal Pictures is also on board!

ā€œI would love to see a female Fast." Universal Pictures chief Donna Langley said in an interview with Business Insider back in October.

"We have so many great and amazing female characters in our franchise and now there's the new addition of Brie Larson to add to this incredible roster."

The actresses of the Fast and Furious films have also backed an all-female spin-off.

While promoting F9, Jordana Brewster - who play Mia Toretto in the original 2001 film - said: "That would be awesome. Think about all the people we could bring back, right? We could bring back Eva Mendes, who'd be incredible to work with. Fingers crossed!"
