Fast & Furious fans, buckle up – Vin Diesel has just dropped a blockbuster update at FuelFest in California.
He confirmed the next chapter, Fast & Furious 11, will hit cinemas in April 2027, and it’s going to tick every box: a return to Los Angeles, a proper slice of street-racing culture, and the long-awaited reunion between Dom Toretto and Brian O’Conner – a.k.a. Paul Walker’s iconic character.
Diesel told fans he set three absolute conditions with Universal: bring the series home to L.A., rev back to its root in underground racing, and bring Brian O’Conner back into Dom’s world. Despite Paul Walker’s tragic passing in 2013, filmmakers have already used CGI and his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker to finish his scenes in Furious 7. Now they're planning something even bigger.
Director Louis Leterrier, who returns after Fast X, teased it’ll be emotional with plenty of twists – expect fans to shed a tear or two. Whether they’ll pull it off with emotional depth or crank the action dial to eleven remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure – we're on for one final adrenaline-fuelled ride.
