Brad Pitt's upcoming Formula One film, F1, has received high praise from real-life F1 drivers following an exclusive screening at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and co-produced by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, features Pitt as veteran driver Sonny Hayes. The film aims to deliver an authentic portrayal of the racing world, with scenes shot during actual F1 events and appearances by current drivers.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and McLaren's Lando Norris lauded the film's storytelling and realism. Leclerc remarked on the compelling narrative, while Norris appreciated the film's authentic depiction of the sport. Haas driver Esteban Ocon noted the film's diverse representation, highlighting a female mechanic's pivotal role.

However, not all drivers attended the screening. Reigning champion Max Verstappen chose to spend time with his newborn daughter instead. Despite his absence, Verstappen appears in the film, with scenes shot during live F1 events.
F1 is set for international release on 25 June 2025, with a North American release on 27 June. The film is expected to attract new fans and resonate with existing ones through its compelling narrative and stunning visuals.
