A man's died after an assault in Clondalkin.
Another man, in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A house in Shancastle remains sealed off this afternoon following a fatal assault in the early hours of this morning.
At around 5.50am, Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident at a residence, where a man in his 30s was found unresponsive.
He was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where he was later pronounced dead.
A man, also in his 30s, has been arrested and is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The scene remains preserved for forensic examination, and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage from the area between 5 and 6am.
A family liaison officer will be appointed to those affected.
