All eyes were on Sabrina Carpenter at this year’s Met Gala, and not just because of her stunning look – or the fact that her ex, Barry Keoghan, was also in the building.
Sabrina turned heads with a bold fashion moment, stepping out in a burgundy Louis Vuitton bodysuit with no trousers in sight. The outfit, designed by Pharrell Williams (who also co-chaired the event), featured a sharp white collar, brass buttons and dramatic tails, giving vintage vibes with a modern twist.

She cheekily revealed the inspiration behind the daring look: “You’re quite short, so no pants for you,” Pharrell reportedly told her. Iconic.
It marked Sabrina’s third Met Gala appearance, but her first solo red carpet since her split from Irish actor Barry Keoghan in late 2024. The pair avoided a run-in on the red carpet, but both were spotted at the glamorous bash separately.
Barry, never one to blend in, rocked a black Valentino suit with statement red belt and embroidered cuffs – serving up military chic with a designer edge.

This year’s Met Gala theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrated Black fashion and menswear throughout history, and the star-studded event did not disappoint – with co-chairs including Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, and Colman Domingo.
Meanwhile, Sabrina is still on her “Short n’ Sweet” tour across North America, proving she’s as much a force in music as she is on the red carpet.
Breakups? What breakups.
