The Green Party's the big winner in the elections in Dublin.

Greens are on course to take more city council seats than any other party.

Ciaran Cuffe looks set to comfortably top the European poll in Dublin with 23 per cent of the vote.

The Red C poll says Fine Gael's Frances Fitzgerald and Fianna Fáil's Barry Andrews will take seats.

With the final one a battle between Independent Clare Daly and Sinn Féin's Lynn Boylan

When it comes to the local elections the Greens look set to more than triple the vote they got 5 years ago.

Sinn Féin's down with just 11 per cent while Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil look set to also lose some seats as a Green Wave washes over Dublin.
