A fresh appeal has been launched in connection with the murder of a man who was last seen in Dublin 16 years ago.
The last sighting of Paul 'Frank' Byrne was on July 15th 2009 at Kilmartin Green in Tallaght. Gardaí say he was reported leaving the estate in a 2000 registered wine-coloured Mitsubishi Carisma accompanied by a number of other men.
Just over a year later, on July 29th 2010, the 20 year-old's remains were discovered in a wooded area by a forestry worker near Blessington in Wicklow.
To date, five people have been arrested in connection with the investigation, however no one has been brought to justice.
Gardaí in Blessington have renewed their appeal for information, saying anyone who comes forward will be treated in a sensitive manner.
