It will start at 1PM on Saturday June 29th.

The parade will start on O’Connell Street, turn on to Eden Quay and pass Liberty Hall.

It will then cross the Liffey at Talbot Memorial Bridge and travel along City Quay, Lombard Street and Westland Row.

The parade will end at Merrion Square, with a free outdoor event.

He added that "it is essential that An Garda Síochána reflects the diverse society we serve".

One of the founding members of Dublin Pride won't take part in this year's parade, because of the inclusion of Gardai.
Izzy O'Rourke is backing an alternative event being held by Queer Action Ireland.
The group is protesting a number of issues, including the commercialisation of Pride and its media partnership with RTÉ.
