An animal charity is asking people around the Clondalkin area to help them find a missing dog, currently out on foster.

Pluto, a black Staffie cross, went missing on Tuesday December 11th at 2.30pm.

The DSPCA says Pluto originally came in to them "after been badly treated and is very timid".

"He loves other dogs but would be too afraid to approach anyone", the charity said.

His last sighting was Tuesday night at 11.30 in Clondalkin, but there have been no known sightings since.

The DSPCA says Pluto will try to hide when he sees people, and is pleading with people to keep an eye for him.

Anyone who does spot Pluto is asked to phone 0860654090.
