Filming has officially commenced for the second series of Big Mood, the critically acclaimed Channel 4 comedy-drama starring Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West.
The creative duo returned to their roles as Maggie and Eddie this week, signalling a highly anticipated comeback.
Created and written by Camilla Whitehill, with Rebecca Asher directing the new series, the six-episode follow-up is slated to air on Channel 4 in 2026. It will also be available in North America on Tubi.

The upcoming series picks up a year after Maggie and Eddie last saw each other—with no contact in between. Their reunion occurs at a wedding, where Eddie appears accompanied by a cheerful spiritual healer named Whitney, setting the stage for jealousy, rivalry, and emotional upheaval in their friendship.
