Britpop legends Oasis kicked off their hugely anticipated reunion tour, Live ’25, on 4 July at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium — their first performance together in 16 years.
Fronted by the iconic brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the pair clasped hands on stage opening with “Hello”, signalling the realisation of years of fan dreams.
The night was a pitch-perfect blast through their 90s heyday with a searing 23-track set. Highlights included rousing classics like “Some Might Say”, “Cigarettes & Alcohol”, and “Supersonic”, plus rare deep cuts such as “Talk Tonight”and “Half the World Away” giving fans a proper nostalgia fix. The encore delivered fan‑favourites “Don’t Look Back in Anger”, “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” — the latter closing a charged two‑hour show.

Emotion was woven through the performance – a poignant moment came as they dedicated “Live Forever” to Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota, whose tragic passing was honoured by a huge stage projection. The set was rounded out by a hand‑in‑hand encore finale, a symbol that the feuding Gallagher brothers are once again united.
This Cardiff show kicks off a 41-date world tour, with stops across the UK, Ireland (including Dublin’s Croke Park on 16 August), Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, and South America. Fans are also buzzing about the deluxe reissue of (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, due on 3 October, featuring unplugged versions of their big hits.
