They did say it was 'to be continued'!
Hopeful fans think Beyoncé has left us a hint that she’ll be teaming back up with Lady Gaga to give us a follow-up to Telephone.
During Sunday night's Super Bowl, Beyoncé delighted her Beyhive by revealing she was dropping a new album during an ad for Verizon.
She dropped two songs and revealed that Act II, the second installment of her Renaissance trilogy was being released on the 29th of March.
In the teaser shown during the Super Bowl, Beyoncé is seen driving a taxi through a barren landscape. And fans are connecting the dots and speculating that it’s a nod to the taxi and the barren landscape seen in the 2010 music video for Telephone.
The music video ends with the words “To Be Continued,” even though it’s been nearly 14 years and we’ve yet to see a continuation of any kind.
Could this be it finally?
We think it might be a bit of a reach but sure there’s no harm in having a little hope!
