Malahide Teenager Injured In Castle Heath Hit & Run

A teenage boy has been injured in a hit and run in Malahide.

He was hit by a car outside the entrance to Castle Heath just before 7pm Tuesday.

The blue Ford Focus with a 05 D registration didn't stop, and drove off towards Swords.

It happened at approximately 6.55pm on the R106, Swords Road outside the entrance to Castle Heath.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Gardai.

The teenage boy was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital, where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

In particular, they want to hear from people who were in the area at the time and have dash-cam footage of what happened.
