Krispy-Kreme is re-opening its 24 hour drive-thru in Blanchardstown.

It stopped serving through the night, after noise complaints from people living nearby.

Shortly after it opened earlier this year, residents complained about constant beeping at night-time.

The company put signs up asking cars queuing not to beep their horns.

When that didn't work, the drive-thru was shut at 11:30pm each night.

Since then, it's re-opened each morning at 6am.

From later this month, the Krispy Kreme drive-thru will open on a 24 hour basis again.

The company says, following a traffic consultation, the late night service will continue from June 24th.

Krispy Kreme says the peak queue time should take 15 minutes.

It's reminding drivers to keep noise to a minimum.
