Dog Walker Could Help In Attempted Abduction Investigation

Gardai investigating an attempted abduction near Cabra are looking to speak with a woman who was walking her dog at the time.

She spoke briefly with a woman in her 60s, shortly before she was almost bundled into a car boot.

The two women met close to Cumiskeys pub on Blackhorse Avenue at around 7:30am on Monday.

Gardai want to speak with the dog-walker to try and help their investigation.

The attempted abduction happened in the Martin's Grove/Blackhorse Avenue area.

A 20-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation has been released from questioning.

A vehicle of interest has been seized by Gardai.

Investigating officers are appealing to speak with witnesses, and want anyone with dash-cam footage of what happened to hand it in.
