Gardaí have made a fresh appeal for information on the murder of a woman, whose body was found in woods in Dublin in 2017.
Today marks 8 years since Linda Evans Christian's body was discovered.
The 29 year-old was last seen leaving the Ash Ward of James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown on Saturday the 24th of June 2017 at 9am. She had been receiving treatment at the time.
A man was captured on CCTV in her company.
A week later on July 1st, Linda's family reported her missing. It prompted an investigation and search by gardaí, which uncovered her remains at Coolmine Woods in Blanchardstown on July 17th.
Linda was in the same clothes she was wearing the day she vanished and its believed she died violently.
A man was arrested as part of the case in 2018, however no one has been brought to justice, prompting this renewed appeal for information.
Gardaí say with the passage of time, people may now feel more comfortable sharing information with them.
