An appeal for help has been issued by authorities, in relation to the disappearance 13-year-old boy from Athlone.
Jack Byrne was last seen on Christmas Day and is known to frequent the Dublin 1 area.
He's described as being 5 foot 5 inches in height, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes.
When last seen he was wearing a wearing a black puffer jacket and a dark grey tracksuit.
