KSI—real name Olajide “JJ” Olatunji—has been officially announced as the newest judge on Britain’s Got Talent, stepping in full-time for Bruno Tonioli for the upcoming 2026 series.
The number-one YouTuber, musician, and boxer received high praise for his performances as a guest judge during earlier audition episodes, and his dynamic presence is seen as a valuable addition to the panel.

KSI first stepped in during the 2025 series when Tonioli had scheduling conflicts due to commitments in the United States, including Dancing with the Stars. His guest appearances included the auditions, the live semi-finals, and he notably pressed a Live Show Golden Buzzer for magician Harry Moulding, who went on to win that series.
Now, with Tonioli set to exit the show, KSI will assume a permanent judging role alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon. The development reflects ITV’s intent to refresh the panel dynamic and appeal to younger audiences, while maintaining the show’s established format.
