Timothée Chalamet has finally given fans a glimpse of himself as Willy Wonka in new Charlie And The Chocolate Factory prequel Wonka.
Wearing Wonka's signature top hat and velvet suit, Chalamet captioned the snap: “The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last."

Chalamet assumes the role previously played by Johnny Depp and Gene Wilder.
The film will also star Olivia Coleman, Rowan Atkinson and Keegan-Michael Key with Paddington director Paul King helming the project.
Wonka is due for release in 2023.
