U2 will perform 3 live shows in Dublin this Christmas. The gigs are part of their Innocence and Experience Tour 2015 and will take place in the 3 Arena.
Bono confirmed the details in an exclusive interview with Today FM's late Tony Fenton, recorded in January.
The last time U2 toured, they were on the road from 2009 through to 2011. The 360° Tour sold 7.2 million tickets and took in over $700 million.
Bono recently admitted that life can be hard on tour. He said: "Only if the songs are great can you bear leaving home. We all have families and mates and... so you know, you're looking for 11 great reasons to leave home and I think we've got them."
