Love Hate is being adapted in the US by Dennis Lehane, who wrote Shutter Island. Show creator Stuart Carolan has revealed he would love to go to Hawaii to check out the production.
Speaking to The Herald, Carolan said "I'd really like to see it out there, it would be fun. I'll go over and pretend to work and sit on a beach for two weeks.
"Crime writer Dennis Lehane, who's adapting Love/Hate, has done major stuff, so if it has any chance of happening it's with him.
"He's done Shutter Island - he's big time. He's an amazing writer."
Carolan also spoke to The Herald about Tom Vaughan Lawlor, who played Nidge on the hit show. He says he's really happy for the Dubliner, who's landed a major Hollywood role alongside Bryan Cranston, in new movie The Infiltrator.
