Sony Pictures has announced plans to make an animated Spider-Man feature. Chairman Tom Rothman has confirmed that the writing and directing team from the LEGO Movie will take on the project.
It will be released in 2018, after Captain America Civil War and the stand alone Spidey reboot in 2017.
