Rihanna has denied she will drop her new album later today. There's been reports she'll debut R8 on Jay Z's new streaming service Tidal, but this afternoon she distanced herself from the story on Twitter. Tidal launches at 10pm tonight, with Jay's famous friends like Taylor Swfit, Madonna and Kanye West all showing support with the hashtag #TIDALforALL. Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Coldplay and Usher are also involved.
Jay singed Rihanna all the way back in 2009 and they've even collaborated on two songs - Run This Town and Talk That Talk. Rihanna performed a new track called Bitch Better Have My Money at the iHeartRadio Awards in LA last night. But will she pull a Beyonce and drop her new album without any warning? We're waiting on tender hooks.
