It has just been revealed that Dermot O'Leary has left The X Factor. Dermot took to Twitter just after the news broke thanking ITV, Simon, The X Factor family and the viewers.
He also wished his successor the best of luck. Dermot took over from Kate Thornton in 2007 and has played a massive part in the shows success. It hasn't been confirmed who will take over.
