21 Jump Street is getting a female led spin-off. According to reports today, Sony is working on the movie based on the franchise starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
The orginal TV show first aired in 1987, launching Johnny Depp's acting career. It was adapted in 2012, when we saw a pair of underachieving cops sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring.
It's believed Broad City's Lucia Aniello and Paul Downs will write the female led script, with no production or cast details available just yet.
Sony is also behind new Ghostbusters movie starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.
In other news today, FHM have named their sexiest woman. More on that here.
