You may be familiar with The US Office, which is a remake of the original UK series created by Ricky Gervais.
Now the franchise is being recreated for Australian audiences - but it’s actually the 14th iteration of the popular sitcom!
The Australian version of The Office is the first in the franchise to have a female protagonist and it dropped its first trailer yesterday.

Some of the immediate reaction to the trailer hasn’t been overwhelmingly positive.
One commenter on X/Twitter wrote:
"This looks like a bad fan made parody wtf lol"
The top comment under the trailer on YouTube reads: "Dear Prime. It's not too late to delete this"
However some people are interested to see a brand new take on the popular sitcom!
"This remake isn’t gonna be as good as the original but it could still be good" one commenter wrote.
"Australian comedy is underrated. Since watching Fisk, my confidence in their comedy has skyrocketed. Looking forward to this," another wrote on X/Twitter.
