HBO has officially announced the fresh faces set to portray the iconic trio in its forthcoming 'Harry Potter' television series.
Dominic McLaughlin will take on the role of Harry Potter, with Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
Dominic McLaughlin, a newcomer to the screen, is also set to appear in the upcoming Sky film 'Grow' alongside Golda Rosheuvel and Nick Frost, who will portray Hagrid in the series. Arabella Stanton brings stage experience from her performances in 'Matilda the Musical' and Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Starlight Express.' Alastair Stout has previously featured in advertising campaigns.

The casting directors, Lucy Bevan and Emily Brockmann, conducted an extensive search, reviewing thousands of auditions to find the right actors to embody the beloved characters. The series aims to be a faithful adaptation of J.K. Rowling's novels, with each season dedicated to one book in the series. Filming is scheduled to commence later this year, with the series expected to premiere on HBO in 2026.
