ITV have announced the release date for the return of Big Brother - but we're going to have to wait!

The highly anticipated reboot of Big Brother was originally set to arrive back on our screens next March, but ITV have confirmed it will be delayed until Autumn 2023.

Among the return of Big Brother, ITV are flat out running reality TV shows in 2023. We have not one but two Love Island series to look forward to, as well as an All-Stars edition of I'm A Celeb!

While we're a little disappointed we have to wait a little bit longer for the return of the OG reality show, there's no shortage of entertainment to keep us going until then.

With the delay of its release, ITV have now extended its casting deadline until next summer. So if you think you'd make a great housemate there's still time to submit your application!

We're still no wiser to who is set to host the iconic series. The show's former presenter Davina McCall confirmed recently she will not be returning to host. Rumours have been circulating that former Love Island contestant (and national treasure) Maura Higgins is in the running to become the show's new presenter.
