Filming Has Been Put On Hold on Netflix Series 'The Crown' Following Passing Of The Queen

It's believed the writer of the popular Netflix series Peter Morgan expects filming to be put on hold 'out of respect'. 

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II yesterday afternoon, Operation London Bridge is is now underway in the UK

Operation London Bridge is the name of a funeral plan for Queen Elizabeth II. The plan includes the announcement of her death, the period of official mourning, and the details of her state funeral.

It believed Netflix has made their own plans in the occurrence of the Queen passing.

It seems writer Peter Morgan said in an email that filming will pause on Season 6 of The Crown.



Morgan said The Crown is 'a love letter' to the monarch.

Cast members of the show have been paying respects online since the new broke yesterday.

Season 5 of the popular series is set to drop on Netflix in November.
