The rumours are true!

Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli is replacing David Walliams as a judge on Britain's Got Talent.

This comes not long after David Walliams came under fire for making disrespectful comments about contestants after their auditions.

Bruno, best known for being the energetic and flamboyant judge on Strictly Come Dancing for years before leaving in 2021, joined the judging panel for the show's first filming this week at the London Palladium.

"Here we are, Britain's Got Talent. I am so excited" he told cameras. "It's my first show, I have no what's going to happen, but I'm sure it's going to be brilliant."

While Bruno was a judge on Strictly for years, he was also simultaneously judging the American version, Dancing With The Stars, and for years was travelling back and forth from the US & UK to do both. We don't know how he managed the jet lag 🥱

The back and forth flying was disrupted by the pandemic and when it came down to one over the other, Bruno chose the states, and is currently still a judge on Dancing With The Stars.

There's one man not concerned about his carbon footprint 😂

Meanwhile David Walliams hasn't announced any new ventures yet but he has teased an upcoming project with his former Little Britain co-star, Matt Lucas.
