Irish screen legend Pierce Brosnan is back in the crime game: his hit drama Mob Land has been officially renewed for a second season.

The news comes hot on the heels of the show’s gripping first run, which saw Brosnan take on the role of Noah McCall, a seemingly ordinary family man whose world is turned upside down within Dublin’s criminal underworld.

The six-part series follows Noah as he tries to balance suburban life with rising tensions after getting entangled with shady characters. Brosnan’s portrayal of a man caught between family love and loyalty to old crime ties earned rave reviews, and viewers were left desperate for more when season one ended on a taut cliffhanger.

Official confirmation of season two has fans buzzing, with Brosnan himself calling the continuation “an opportunity to dive even deeper into these characters and the unexpected turns their lives will take”. With writer Daniel Casey (known for The Lazarus Project) back at the helm, the stakes are set to escalate—and so will the drama.

Although details are still under wraps, production is expected to begin later this year, with a return to familiar Dublin locations. If the first series proved one thing, it’s that Mob Land is a dynamic blend of family emotion and thriller tension—just the kind of series we’ll be glued to come 2026.
