Ever since it was announced that the popular TV series would be making a return to our TV screens, there has been plenty of speculation around who will be the presenter.

AJ Odudu has been tipped as one of the favourites from the start, but now it looks like a deal is being struck.

According to The Sun, the 34-year-old presenter is finalising her contract as we speak!

A source told The Sun "AJ and ITV are still ironing out the details in her contract but she has told a lot of people the job is hers"

A spokesperson for ITV said: "All suggestions surrounding the host are speculation at this stage"

The gig would be a huge deal for AJ, and a bit of a full circle moment for her as she presented Big Brother's spin-off show Bit On The Side in 2013. Her co-presenters on the show Rylan and Emma Willis were two others tipped to be in the running for the job.

Other people speculated to host were our very own Maura Higgins, Davina McCall and Alison Hammond.

ITV announced recently that we're going to have a little bit longer for Big Brother's return. Originally set to air in spring of next year, its release has now been pushed back to Autumn 2023.

ITV doesn't want the reboot to clash with the other heap of reality shows it's set to air next year, so we'll be waiting until the end of the Love Island season before we hear that iconic theme music again.

You'd swear these people don't want us to leave our sofas at all!
