Time to brush up on that Bend And Snap!
It’s official. A Legally Blonde prequel series is in the works at Prime Video.
Reese Witherspoon sent fans into a frenzy this week when she shared a short clip on her social media getting ready for an on-stage appearance as her iconic character Elle Woods.
@reesewitherspoon Before she became the most famous Gemini vegetarian to graduate from Harvard Law, she was just a regular ‘90s high school girl. And all of you are going to get to know her, next year on @Prime Video ♬ Perfect Day - Hoku
Reese shared the clips to her socials with the caption: "Before she became the most famous Gemini vegetarian to graduate from Harvard Law, she was just a regular ‘90s high school girl.”
The end of the clip reveals that a prequel series is being made by Amazon Prime, with Reese Witherspoon's production company Hello Sunshine in the works.
It wasn’t revealed who would be taking on the role of young Elle Woods, but fans in the comments all had the same idea of who should play her - Reese’s lookalike daughter Ava Philippe.
"I hope Ava is playing Elle 👀🤭" one commenter wrote.
"If Ava Phillippe doesn't play young Elle, I'm rioting!" another commented.
The two are the spitting image of each other in fairness, Dad didn’t even get a look in 😅
