This is like the plot of a heist movie!
A man has been arrested after plotting to rob a bunch of celebrity homes, including Simon Cowell's.
The man in question is a security expert and had actually been hired by the A-listers to secure their homes. He planned on using his knowledge of the systems and the home layouts to rob them of their wealth!

According to The Sun, he purchased the lock decoder from Bulgaria and it was capable of cracking tungsten-strengthened locks fitted on the doors of these multi-millionaire's homes.
After learning of the man’s plans, Simon Cowell said he was in disbelief.
"When I initially was told about this story by The Sun, I couldn’t believe it," he said.
"It was like something out of a science fiction film."
Scary to think the person you hired to secure your home is also the one breaking into it!
‘The fact that it is possible for a person to obtain the software code to sell to someone so they could rob the house my family lives in is disgusting." Simon continued.
It's reported that Simon spent more than £500,000 on securing his home.

As well as eyeing up the house of Simon Cowell, it’s said the man has also been accused of targeting houses belonging to a worldwide famous singer, a TV household name, a Russian billionaire, a sportsman, and a Chinese multi-millionaire.
It’s believed that the man boasted about being able to target ‘thousands of properties’ owned by the rich and famous.
He was once a well off security expert with a £1million five-bed property in Hertfordshire, who is said to have lost his wealth. A mad character trajectory!
