Plans have been unveiled for a new train station in Dublin.
Located in the centre of Cabra, the new station will be part of the Phoenix Park tunnel line.
It will provide rail access for up to 26,000 people living within a kilometre of the stop, and if it gets the go ahead, the station will be built as part of plans to extend the DART network.
Irish Rail says a significant number of local residents requested that a new station be considered for Cabra during the public consultation on the DART plus programme, which it says it took on board.
Work on a planning application for the stop in Cabra is to start early next year.
A public information campaign will run until July 2nd.
