Matt Damon has revealed he would consider moving to Ireland.

He famously lived in Dalkey for three months during the first coronavirus lockdown.

The Hollywood star was renting a house there to film a new movie when production was shut down due to the pandemic.

Speaking to the WTF Podcast with Marc Maron, Matt Damon described the seaside town as beautiful.

"We loved it there so much and I was kind of, in the back of my head, like I could move here. I could live here."

Matt explained that they had arrived in Ireland to film The Last Duel when the country went into lockdown.

"We stayed for three months. We had rented all these houses in this town. It was about 15 minute drive to studio."

Director Ridley Scott and other actors left Ireland but a group decided to stay on to take advantage of the situation.

"We just moved into these houses and just kind of took it over and had just the best time!"
