Deliveroo has launched drone deliveries in Dublin.
Over the coming days, customers in a 3 kilometre radius of Blanchardstown will be able to order from local restaurants. More food outlets will be added over time, with plans to launch grocery and retail drop-offs within the next six months.
It's the first time the platform has offered drone delivery for its customers anywhere in the world.
The new service, that will be operated by Manna, will be tested over the coming weeks.
The unmanned aircraft fly at speeds of up to 80 km/h, with a flight time of as little as three minutes.
Manna has already completed over 170,000 delivery flights in Dublin 15.
