Television presenter Caroline Flack has been found dead at the age of 40.
The former Love Island host's body is believed to have been discovered at her home in London.
This afternoon her family released a statement through their lawyers.
They said "We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February. We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time."
A lawyer for the Flack family has confirmed that she took her own life.
The news comes two months after she was charged with assaulting her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.
She had denied the charge, and was due to return to court on March 4th.
