More Than €750,000 Worth Of Drugs Discovered In Ballyfermot Searches

An estimated €758,000 worth of drugs have been discovered in Ballyfermot.

It follows searches at a number of houses in the area yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of controlled drugs.

During the raid Gardaí seized Cannabis resin, cocaine, MDMA and Heroin. Drug related paraphernalia and documentation were also uncovered.

One man in his early 30s was arrested during the searches and taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station.

He is currently detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

This man remains in custody and investigations are ongoing.
