Netflix Announce The Fifth Season Of 'The Crown' Will Drop On November The 9th

Well, that's the cold November nights sorted!

Netflix have announced season 5 of the popular series 'The Crown' will land on the streaming platform on November 9th.

 

 

 

The upcoming 5th season of the show will see Dominic West reprise his role as the now King Charles, and Elizabeth Debicki will return as Princess Diana.

Imelda Staunton will be replacing Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II for season 5 and Jonathan Pryce will take over the role of Prince Philip from actor Tobias Menzies.

 

 

 

Netflix made the announcement just two weeks after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, after it was revealed filming of the popular series was briefly put on hold following the news of her death.

Meg Bellamy has been also cast as Kate Middleton for season six which is currently in production while actor Rufus Kampa will play the role of a young Prince William.

 

Winter nights will be just that little bit easier knowing there's something juicy to watch on Netflix!
