Tickets for Electric Picnic 2026 have officially sold out in record time, with organisers reporting that passes were snapped up within minutes of going on general sale at 9 am today, 3 September 2025.
Festival director Melvin Benn admitted he and the team were “blown away” by the speed of demand.
Even without the festival’s lineup confirmed, interest was fierce. Tickets flew off the virtual shelves through both the Three+ loyalty pre-sale and the general public sale via Ticketmaster, demonstrating how Electric Picnic continues to captivate fans year-on-year.

This rapid sell-out comes fresh off the back of the 2025 festival, which welcomed a record 80,000 attendees to Stradbally Estate and featured stand-out performances from artists like Chappell Roan and Kneecap. Benn confirmed that two of next year’s headline acts have already been booked, while site enhancements—particularly in beloved areas like Freetown, Salty Dog, and Fishtown—are already in the works.
